Most sources list Dulce de Uva as Grape Pie x OG Kush, which tracks with both the flavor and the way it hits. High Grass Farms has also referred to their version as a clone-only selection of Grape Cream Cake on some menus. Either way, you’re getting a grape-forward, indica-leaning hybrid with enough OG structure underneath to keep it from being one-note candy. That balance is a big reason this cut stands out in the New Jersey market.
Nose & Flavor
Open the jar and it’s immediate — sweet white grape and blueberry pie with a soft vanilla edge. Not artificial and not watered down. On the dry pull the fruit is loud. Once it’s burning, the grape stays present while a light gas and earthy OG note come through on the back end. The flavor holds through most of the joint, which is rarer than it should be with fruit-heavy strains right now.
Effects
This is where Dulce de Uva earned the higher score. It comes on clean with a noticeable mood lift and that “permanent smile” feeling. Then it settles into the body without pinning you to the couch.
