I grabbed a pack of Robusta #4 from Simply Weed expecting another decent hybrid. What I got was a straight-up cozy indica-leaning session that had me sinking into the couch like I owed it rent. This one lives up to the “Robusta” name — sturdy, full-bodied, and unapologetically bold.
Bag Appeal & Structure Dense, chunky nugs with a dark forest green hue, bright orange pistils, and a heavy dusting of trichomes that make it look like it’s been rolling in sugar. It breaks up nicely, burns slow and even, and leaves a clean white ash. No fluff, no hay — just solid, resinous flower.
The Nose & Flavor This is where it shines. Deep, rich coffee and earthy undertones hit first, followed by a gassy, roasted spice finish that reminds me of a good dark roast with a hint of chocolate. On the exhale, there’s a sweet herbal backnote that keeps it from being too heavy. It’s complex without trying too hard — exactly what I want when I’m winding down.
