Nightmare on Main Street in Englishtown: Bud It Up Party Was Fri. Oct. 23
ENGLISHTOWN — Bud It Up hosts Nightmare on Main Street tonight, Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. at 34 Main Street in Englishtown. The party is 21 and over, and a valid ID is required. Admission is $10 at the door, or free with any purchase made at the store during October, according to the Bud It Up events page.
The store lists vendors and pop-ups, giveaways and raffles, a DJ, a haunted walk-through, a costume contest, games and prizes, and merchandise. TSR re-opened the Bud It Up events page and home page shortly after midnight on Oct. 23. The event was still listed on both, with the same date, time, address and door policy. This post uses only what those pages say. It ends with a same-day shelf check at Zen Leaf in Neptune, also in Monmouth County. The Stoner Review sells shirts and hoodies only. Here are the facts as the organizer lists them:

- RSVP: The store says to scan the QR code on its event flyer. It does not list a separate ticket link.
The listing asks guests to “dress to scare” for the costume contest. It does not list prizes, judges or a contest start time. TSR will not guess at those details. Check with the store if you need them before you go.
Who Is Hosting
Bud It Up is an adult-use dispensary in Englishtown. Its website describes the shop as locally, women and minority owned, and calls itself “Small operation. Big heart.” The site requires visitors to confirm they are 21 or older before it loads.
Nightmare on Main Street is not a one-off for the store. Its events page lists more dates in November. A Cannabis 101 session, the first of five in a LeTip education series, is set for Thursday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Diwali lantern-painting night is set for Friday, Nov. 6, starting at 8:30 p.m. A Veterans Day vendor pop-up runs Wednesday, Nov. 11, from noon to 2 p.m. All are listed at the Englishtown store.

Today’s New Jersey shelf check is Zen Leaf in Neptune, Monmouth County. TSR read the store’s public recreational menu at 12:23 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026. The menu reported 1,065 product listings across 45 pages. The first page, in its default order, showed 30 items, all from Grow Sciences. The table shows 13 of them. Prices are as displayed. Tax is not included.

Every flower eighth on the first page was listed at $59. Every half-ounce was $159. None of the eighths showed a sale price. Single 1-gram pre-rolls were $16. The menu showed $11.20 for each one under a promotion called “30% OFF 3+ All Pre-Rolls,” which by its name applies when a customer buys three or more.
TSR has checked this store twice before. On Sept. 22, the same Grow Sciences eighths were also $59, and pre-rolls were $16. On Oct. 9, for our Stoner Tarot October post, the eighths were $59 with an “as low as” price of $44.25. That lower price did not appear on today’s first page.
